Need more info on the format. Points per month, or just whatever you like? How long you gonna run it?

I might be up for that. I’m currently frantically painting a 6th Ed. Warhammer army for tourneys in September/October, so could tie it in with that, depending on timings. I’ve always wanted to do a Tale of X Gamers and extra motivation could keep me on track.

I be 100% honest I haven't given this any thought! So open to ideals

I think, as far as format goes, we could just make it up for ourselves. We should collectively set a time frame. Say, between now and the start of 2020. Then, we should set an individual target. I personally would favour taking a list, and painting that within the time frame. Or, you could do it the original way, pick an amount of money per month, and buy and paint the models over that month.
Or, you could randomise it. Allocate a card to a bunch of options, and deal a card each month. :-D
Then plog your progress on here. In the subforum Llamafish is going to set up. Start a thread, detail what rules you're setting yourself. In the New Year, we see where we're up to. Maybe even arrange a session at WHW or somewhere, and mash toys into each other.

So, I'll say:
I'm going to paint gobbos. I've got a list planned already, taken from the 6th ed Ravening Hordes. I'm going to get it painted by the end of the year.
If I remember right, it looks something like:
Big boss on big squig. Shaman.
25 spear grots. 20 archer grots. 3 spinnin' loonies.
15 squigs. 10 herders.
9 squig hoppers.
(I've already painted some of this, but we're already into July.)

I've tried and failed to get these things going a few times, but I think I know what's gone wrong... Because of the rather, er, diffuse nature of the Middlehammer community, there isn't that thrust of regular gaming that motivates the completion of a regular gamer's army and the rivalries and the banter and all that sort of thing. Even the original Four Gamers might not have met in battle that much before the finale, but they had something more than just "painted some lads" every month. And I think the online ones fall down because the actual gaming bit becomes "eh, maybe in a few months if we can be arsed", rather than being what it was to the original series: The Point Of It All. So what I'm saying is rather than sweating over how much you spend or whether you're chewing through your backlog or whatever, schedule some bloody games along the way!

I would suggest we do a 24pts Dragons Rampant army - but im biase

I would suggest we do a 24pts Dragons Rampant army - but im biase I've already got that covered with my list:
Hoppers = heavy cav. Squigs = light beast. Squigs = light beast. Spears = light foot.
Spears = light foot. Bows = light missile.
I think that's 22 points. Add wizardling (shaman) to a foot unit, or fly to the cav, for 24.
They fit into AoS and Path To Glory too. Almost like I planned it.

I would be up for this, but I wouldn't do it for DR as I mostly play Saga or Erewhon. So as long as there's not a size of unit stipulation, I would be in. Unfortunately, I would be gobboes too, it's my next main project. My other projects are not really suitable.

Dude, more gobbos is fine. And, your stipulations are your own. :-)
(If you want to go no-ropes, barbed-wire-ring, electrified shark tank, 1000 light tubes, deathmatch, go for it. We'll just get our popcorn.)

Ok just to gather this all together - Basically we have a series of armies and rules The common pattern is the classic good vs evil. IE lots of Gobbo attacking some good guys. Can Erewhon be translated to 6th Ed Ravening Hordes ListIF so - Someone with knowledge of both should come up with a plan That way everyone personnel goals will be achieved and the rest can easy get a game in
