Work interfered with my hobby time quite badly at the end of the month. Only managed to finish 14 of the swordsmen. So the target for October is to get their shields, musician and standard bearer done. This unit will not have a champion as I don't have any champion models for my Empire army.   |

Those are really nice. I wish those dudes in the sallet hats weren't such a rarity. (Or that there was a recaster supplying them...)

Thanks guys! I'll take proper pictures when the unit is finished with shields and all. Those are really nice. I wish those dudes in the sallet hats weren't such a rarity. (Or that there was a recaster supplying them...) Do you mean a certain sculpt or all of these? Just checked that I have quite equal amount of each sculpt, enough to make two units of 16 men. |

I have a minor fetish for this sort of helmet (the sallet helmet):  I've got about 20 each of Republican Guard and the Besiegers, who wear this sort of hat, as well as kitbashed units of 10 foot knights, and 10 repeater gunners, done with Perry heads. I might have to get some more of the Perry knights, and get some greatswords done with them or something, but it would be nice to not have to kitbash them... |

Yeah, Google image search gave different kind of designs, wasn't sure which one that actually was.  Those footsoldiers with plug-in weapons from same era have one sculpt with that kind of helmet, too. One weapon option for them is two handed sword. |

Banner looks really good, very crisp and professional looking. Things like this are surprisingly difficult. You did a good job. Good thing about collecting goblins, when you get fed up with the little gits, you can paint squigs, or trolls, or wolves....Switch to the green side  |

Thanks nord! Haha, I do have a green skin army as well. I just got a bit bored playing with them so lately I've been painting other armies to playable sizes.
