I picked up some converted minis from Russ Painting many moons ago, dug out one as a test for contrast paints, and now I want to finish them and fill out the roster a bit so far we have the following. Not sure on what the original plan was but when I saw them I saw something close to gorkamorka muttie Knights, so the sump Knights, follow a handed down Chinese whispers version of what Knights should be 1 old picture from when they arrived of the converted minis 2 and 3 the contrast test model, I tested skeleton horde as a base skin bit of green and flesh thined for details then loads of glazing, layers, washes and other such fun got him to that stage 4 the next two leader (for now) and normal grunt trying for a bretonian archer look 5 and 6 the gang so far the new three need skin to be finished, they were contrast test two and after tidying up the other areas they look decent I may add inspiration images, need to do a good sort and bit collection as I want to build a leader, and a few more gangers and mutants. Picked up two more conversions to add to the gang. No idea who made these but they are fun. The chaos thug is now a half ogryn, turns out well abhumans are tolerated, the idea of a half abhuman is worse than a mutant, he was relegated to the underhive, but he did get to take some of his father's equipment. The lizardman (no idea where he is from), his origins are unknow, he speaks (rarely) in low gothic, his scaley exterior make some think he is a scaley, but his tiny stature in comparison makes it obvious this is not the case. One thing known for sure is that it is never wise to indicate that the story of old sump krocs growing to huge sizes when flushed by spire children could be linked to his parentage, a few have found his Jaws are not just for show. I will be touching them up not sure by what degree yet, but they are good fun and a great fit for some more unusual gangers Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
