I have mentioned this to a couple of the lads here already. As we are all aware hobbyist trend to flutter from one project to another. I was wonder if folks here would like to come together for a single project – Which would mean we build the terrain and the warbands, then take it to a mutal event/location like EGG or BOYL / Warhammer World/Firestorm etc Currently my thoughts are Mordhiem game with plucky defenders of a hamlet defending from some demons coming out of the woods.  or Shadow War/Gorka Morka style game of Imperials attacking an Orky “The Citadel” (Mad Max ref) style game.  Obviously bit selfish as im doing some of these things anyhow. |

I am down for either of those. If we do the Orky Citadel, though, I have a Mark I Land Raider I'd happily paint up for the collection, and goodness knows I'm not gonna do anything else with it...

Well, I'm happy to paint up a bunch of Orks for the purposes. Might even donate them to a collection if care will be taken of 'em.

I think I'm down. I've got a number of warband options for either side, for either system. Just probably need a bit of lead time to get the painting done. I think I would lean toward gobbos, beastmen, kislev, or skitarii for preference at the moment. I'll commit to something once we've an idea of who's in, for which system, and which allegiance.  I've got some madboyz somewhere, and a bunch of modern kommandos, that could be done if there's a shortage of orks. Oh. And I accidentally got hold of Speed Freaks, so got some vehicles too. If I commit, then I'll commit to getting my arse along early enough in the day to make it worthwhile. |

Ok that a great start chaps I would aim for the following 4x4 board initially 10 models min commitment (NPC, cattle) Setting - mesa desert/Gorka Morka  or ancient wood land  Focus point – Ork Fort / Hamlet & temple? Shatter Terrain – Scrap metal, scrub plant, Rogue trader plants Or General Village stuff - supplies, barrel, carts, ruin, sheds with a border of trees (enough to set the scene) System – for ease I would suggest 2nd ed/shadow wars and Mordhiem I'm just split balling at the min, so please feel free to say no etc |

Oooo. With the new White Dorf comes stuff for demons in Kill Team. I may pull out a bunch of bloodletters and fleshhounds from storage for that. Which, would also make a nice horrible thing to unleash for this. Headtaker and 12ish 'letters fits kill team. I might make it 16 letters, 8 hounds, cos, you know, number of ze god an' that...

Do folks have a preference of setting? The Desert on is the easiest and I can get some material/detail I suspect from Ramshackledminatures However the Hamlet idea would be far more indepth |

So, I've found a box with a bunch of khorne in it, and extracted a converted skulltaker, 8 fleshhounds, and 8 bloodletters. I've also found a ziploc full of madboyz, and I think I know where my kommandos are.
Just need a direction, and to know how many to get paint on. :-)
